Led the development of a Google Earth-based system to manage data and model defense design parameters to calculate estimated materials requirements, and a long-term simulation model of port management decisions for various sea level rise scenarios to observe construction capacity supply-demand balance. Prepared journal article for submission to Science. Awarded two research grants to support research and travel to present at conferences. Conferences: Coastal Zone 2011 - Speaker & Moderator, July 2011 - Chicago, Illinois AIVP Conference - Speaker, November 2010 - Buenos Aires, Argentina Ports and the Environment - Speaker, October 2010 - Long Beach, California Publications: Terra et Aqua, March 2011 - "Will Ports Become Forts?
